How many have used valvoline vr1 racing oil?
If so what are your thoughts, good or bad on it.

We used to run Kendall 20w50 to break our motors in but we cant hardly find it anymore so we are going to try VR1. Just wanted to see what experinces were with it.

I've ran it in all of my motors and haven't had any problems. When I went to tear them down the bearings looked good and there was no sludge.

I agree with Jhon. I've used it for years in my modified and it worked very well.

Yep, valvoline every time for me. IMO kendall oil has slipped a little in quality since they were bought out about 18 months ago.

I didn't realize that Kendall got bought out but a buddy of mine used to run it and he noticed it had changed color. He called Kendall and they said it was the same stuff but we sent it off with a sample of the old stuff and the results said they were completely different.

We always run the VR1 50 or 60, never have had a bearing problem with it.

In the July issue of Circle Track, there is a add for Valvoline Racing Oil SAE 20w-50.
It say's it comes in both conventional and Synthetic and is available at all NAPA stores.
On the bottle it also say's NOT STREET LEGAL.

Has anyone seen the new oil or tried it yet.
