Brzezinski products are first class and are the right parts for racing..but be ready to get your wallet out. I have racing friends that use their parts and have never had a problem with the performance or quality. I will bragg about them because Brzezinski is from my home town of Pewaukee Wi.

Rules and budget should help you make your mind up with what you will use. JR Motorsports has a cast iron intake for $89 that is IMCA legal. Then comes the questions about port matching and internal work.

I would then look into a good Phenolic Adapter to position that carb correctly on the 4 bbl manifold.

There were some good cast irom manifolds over on e bay and the IMCA site for sale early this week.

If you buy the 4 bbl manifold,I see options open to you to use it as a 4 bbl manifold if the need ever came up to run a Q jet. Buy the 4 bbl manifold and run the 1" spacer to position the carb.......and away you go.

I have spent many hours testing stock chev manifolds on the flow bench, I can tell you the casting #s dont mean much ,the quality of the casting{core shift, smoothnes, ect.} is whatmakes the bone stock manifolds flow. You may find only one out of 20 that is much better ! We have some good ones for sale with the flow bench paper work, these are stock and not altered in any way.Dyno testing does show a difference on hand picked castings.P.M.me for more info.

If you can run a 4-Bbl, use the 249 "T" with the 2-Bbl adapter, but if you can only use a 2-Bbl, try the 313 "Canadian" intake.

What i was told from more than one person is if your limited to a 2bbl carb, run a two bbl intake. This is with with 202 valves and 200 or below cc.Reason being you can only force so much air into the head and with the 2bbl intake you will get more air speed wich will actually let more air in the valves than a 4bbl intake.Makes sense?
