First time using the vortec heads. When I bought the plugs, he told me the gap should be .090". Got to thinking, that's probably becuase of the ignition of the vortec motors, not the heads themselves. What gap should I set it at? What are you guys running?

Thanks,
Randy

an easy rule of thumb is more compression= less plug gap. i have run .040-.045 on a 11 to 1 motor and as low as .030 on a 14.5 to 1 motor.
