Hi. I'm thinking About putting 305 heads on a 327 with flat tops. Pretty much stock stuff. I ordered a claimer gasket kit from Speedway. The head gasket is pretty thin and all metal. Don't have stuff to measure anything. Anyone think I'll have problems with clearance. Thanks!

If you are talking about piston to valve clearance, it would depend on your cam lift & how deep the valve reliefs are in the piston.

Do you have the standard 4 valve relief piston?

Which 305 head are you looking to use?
& what RPM range are you going to spin it?

Most 305 heads have the smaller 1.84 intake valves, you might want to change them out for the 1.94s if your rules allow that.

If you're talking about valve to cylinder clearance you will be o.k.
