go with the synthetic. cheap horsepower, fewer oil changes.

How many nights before an oil change with Mobil synthetic.

I use the mobil 1 synthetic and change the oil every 4 or 5 nights unless the motor gets hot then I change it more often. I've never had an engine failure with this schedule.

i ran my mobil 1 engine 25 races and changed the oil 4 times all season. bearings looked like new. change it every 6-7 races as per sdhnc29 on another post. hey, somebody agrees with me! unbelievable!

I buy mine at wal mart whenever they have the gallon jugs on sale. It's the cheapest I've found it yet.

i renber reading one time in i believe it was stock car mag that they don't recomend using syn oils in dirt cars anybody else see that?

I also run 15w-50 mobil 1 on dirt track. No problems ever. I change it every 3-5 races unless I get hot. Engine is on gas. I previously ran Havoline 20w-50 with Justice Brothers heavy duty oil treatment and had good luck, but the Mobil 1 won out on the dyno. The engine looks like brand new when we tear it down once a year.

Hows it going Greg? I just figured out who you are on here. What kind of power difference did you see on the dyno with the mobil 1.
