Rules call for stock motor untouched. In a claim, the heads and manifold go. Will running longer pushrods do the sam as 1.6 rockers? Just curious. Not that I would run them

No, longer pushrods are for changing geometry has nothing to do with the lift.
1.6 rockers will open the valve further and faster than 1.5 Run the 1.6 if you want doubt anyone could tell.

NO DONT DO IT UNLESS U NEED TO U MUST IF NEED TO BY A PUSHROD LENGTH CHECKER AND USE IT TO GET THE CORRECT LENGTH ALSO TOO LONG ON A CAM WILL CAUSE VALVE TRAIN FAILURE I MESSED UP A ENGINE BECAUSE A PARTS STORE SOLD +100 AND I DIDNT CHECK THE LENGTH WE ORDERED STOCK BUT IT WAS TO LATE THEN
