Dirtworks for longevity and all-around, Hot for lightweight and tacky.

I have a 2000 HOT chassis and the main reason I bought one was that it was designed to run well on a dry-slick track. The dryer the better. I can tell you, I really like mine.................Just my two cents, and....................See ya at the track!!

If you are an experienced racer with mods, a Hot will probably suit you just as much as any other. But if you'll need technical assistance, stay with the Dirtworks or some others. I've never, ever, ever, been able to get in touch with anyone at Hot to help with my 2000 Hot. Trial and error isn't the best way in my opinion to get you in the ballpark with a high dollar machine.
