Zeroracing, Would you explain more on the grooving direction. I can't quiet see it in my mind what your are saying. I have been thinking about grooving front tires with two and half inch long grooves starting on both sides of tire and point the groove towards the left rear tire and straight grooves across the middle. The front tire is being pushed and I am thinking that the grooves will bite better when pressure is put on the tire in a turn. I heard a old time say that they used to groove tires like turf tires that are on some big lawn tractors, grooves that goes around the circumference of the tire. These are 10 inch asphalt pull-offs I am talking about. Thanks, Mansfield

Yes, I plan on going ever other weekend. I have a Factory Stock (M18). When I get some more tires I will try that groove pattern. The asphalt pull-offs I have are 27x10x15 Hoosier slicks. These came from the Ice Bowl race that is raced in Pensecola, FL every December. Mansfield

No, he thinks I am nuts. He and his two sons have a business just off of I-10, in Pensocola, Mansfield Industrial Coatings (MCI). If you have a large bridge or a oil refinery, he will paint it for you.
