by far the superior on traction control devices and hardest to detect.

We run in the south at several tracks and have been acused of running traction control, We finished every race for 7 weeks in 1st or 2nd on three different tracks and held the track record at 2. At the end of the season the engine rules were changed from " One carburator/no dry sump oil systems/No turbo, nos or blowers" to Flat top pistons, 450 lift cam, and two bbl cam. At the 1/4 mile asphalt tracks the records all fell. On the larger tracks they are running the same times and are running with fewer cautions. (One track ran 3 weeks including 1 50 lap race without a caution) I think they found our seceret. If you have so much motor you cannot drive the car it will slow you down. We ahd a dyno proven 750hp motor that broke. We were running in the top 10 or around there. A friend gave us a two bbl motor to run until we got ours rebuilt. (twisted the flange off of a LUNATI crank) That weekend we broke a track record and drove away in the feature. We built our next motor and it dynoed at 425hp and we ran it for the rest of the year. We also quit screaming the engine and kept the R's under 7,000. Traction control for NO $$. I could drive out of the corner at about 3/4 throttle and was at WOT at 1/2 track. When it got cold and the asphault got tight I could hardly spin the tires once they got to temp.
