Which aluminum radiator would be the best choice to use in a mod running on gas? We've always used a Griffin, but was just curious what else is out there that might be better. Thanks.

Northern radiators, good price and I have had no problems with mine getting hot.

Yeah, the Speedway ones are real nice and less expensive too. Made by Northern (I think), like Custom recommended.

Who sells the Northern radiators? I've never seen them advertized around my part of the woods. How about C&R radiators? Anybody tried one of these?

always had good luck with afco on alky.. trying gas this year will see what happens.

i have ran griffin and afcos...both performed the same...really well.

i would be interesting to try a more axpensive one like C&R to see if it is really any better.

u can buy the northern radiators at track force racing supplies in kirksville mo. they would be glad to ship anywhere. phone # is 660-665-9024 they range in price from 160 to 175

I just talked to a friend of mine last night who has a Northern for sale because his stockcar always ran hot with it. He said he changed to a griffin & the problem was solved. He said it made about a 30-40 degree difference.
I've looked at alot of different radiator ads since I started this thread, & actually there's not a hole lot of differece in any of them. Sounds like the majority of them are all built about the same.
