Author Topic:   Trailing Arm Angle

Was wondering if anyone angles their trailing arms in, that is, out on the rear end housing and in to the frame? Eliminator mounts won't clear using the frame mounts I have now without angling them in. Any suggestions?

I would try to keep them as straight as possible. The main thing is to make sure they dont bind when the suspension travels.
Angling them in at the front will give a slight amount of rear steer as well.

The arms should be run straight. A rod end bearing is designed for a straight load and will break a lot sooner if sideloaded.
