I'm using a Falcon for the first time on the back of a 383. I've got a 153 tooth 350 flywheel and balance plate. The problem I see is the little lip on the flywheel center interferes with the coupler and the flywheel bolts don't seem long enuff. Do I grind off the lip and is it safe? What length flywheel bolts do I need and where do I get 'em?

Lay the flywheel down and grind it flat. The little lip on it get crimped down when the coupler is torqued doan and it's a real pain to get off sometimes. You can get brand name flywheel bolts at the parts store.

Good luck,
