I'm thinking about getting some Bilstien shocks revalved, but I'm not real sure what to get them changed to, so I thought I would try to get some opinions on this before I go a spend the money. These will go on a 2001 DW-8 short two link & will be run on a 3/8 mile, fairly smooth semi banked track that turns dry & kind of stop & go by feature time. Last year with our DW-6 long 2-link, we ran: LF-40/40, RF-30/50, RR-30/30, LR-30/30 or 40/10.Any suggestions as to what combos might help us on a dry track would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm gonna keep last years setup, but I've got 3 front & 3 rear shocks that I can't use. They were bought a few years ago when we ran an IMCA stockcar,& I thought rather than sell them & buy shocks I could use,(for roughly $60.00 each used), I'd just get them revalved to something I could use for $35.00 each. The guy that sold me the car said that I should think about getting some easy downs for the right & easy ups for the left. Any opinions on this?

we run about the same front set up however we changed to 50/30 on the rears and it made a big difference. first we put the 5030 on the lr and it was noticably better then partway through season we put one on rr as well. Our car is a swingarm though but at the end of the season we locked down the lr and took the rear trailing arm off. Were going to keep it this way for this year. Our mod is a GRT however.

Gee, I expected more opinions than just two on this subject. Oh well, thanks to the two of you that did share.
