Check out a body shop that does frame repair. They have books with all the frame heights and measuremements you need. I went doan and they made copies for me.

The Crown Vic frame to use is after 2/16/1981 to 1991. After 91 they changed the spindle and upper a frame type. Still useable if you are using after market upper a-frames and mounts. The front track width is 62.8 inches. Bump steer is supposed to be pretty good in stock form.

Here's a couple pics of a Sportmod that uses the Ford frame. http://www.salinaspeedway.com/sportmod/DCP_0009.JPG http://www.salinaspeedway.com/sportmod/DCP_0010.JPG http://www.salinaspeedway.com/sportmod/DCP_0022.JPG

Good luck,
Superdave

Buzzard, Are you running PRP this year? Let me know how the swing arm does there. Just thinking about Late Models (Like Rayburns)not too many even try there anymore cuz it's so slick. Most everybody is running a 4 bar, but mods are a different animal. What kind of chassis are you running? I finally sold my old leaf car and going to try a bar car. Should be fun plus it'll help me learn more about the LM.
