it takes alot less gear to get a mod around then a ss like the ss here run 5.83 and the mods run 4.86 same tires same rpm's what kind of rear end are you running that has a 6.15 gear only thing close that i know of would be a chev 12 bolt with a 6.14 or are you tring to run it in low?

Assuming you are talking about 5.14's, I think you should be fine. We have a big 3/8ths in SE Iowa that I run a 5.00 on with a good 383 and have always been pretty close. I think I would do better with the 5.14, though.

I run a 5.43 on small 3/8ths. Keeps me under 7100rpm.

depends on how much bite and on gas or alky. i dont know why but the alkys seem to turn more. i run a 5.43 at a large 3/8 and a 6.00 at a 1 third and on a fast 4/10 i run a 5.29
