has anyone tried a short swingarm on the lr and a long swingarm on the right rear? or would it maybe be better to run both short swingarms. currently have both long. have also considered changing to a 4 bar /zlink what do you guys think. i have a sardeson chassis and no one i have talked to is having any luck with real good forward or side bite on these cars. can't afford a new one so im tring to experiment on my own.

how much bite should be run with a z-link setup and what rear spring rates?seems like the zlinks run alot and the 4-bar/z-links dont run hardly any, why?

hey zero does the bms lr frame rail drop or does it run straight? a local chassis shop around here drops the lr rail for the clearance on his mods . have you had any problems with the rearend hitting the lr frame rail when running the short link? and are you running the short panhard on the left side and if so what holes and angles at ride height are you running. one more question do you run your rearend centered in the car mine has 9"from rotor to frame rail on left and 8.25" on the right.should it be equal on both sides, and what effect does what i have, do to the car handling?

zero what about shock travel on the left rear side do you have a problem with shock bottoming out, and is your mount thru the upper frame rail or does it extend below the rail. concerned that if i notch the lower frame rail with this setup, that i will run out of shock travel. and what type of birdcages are you running? thanks in advance you have been a big help.

no my shock has not bottomed out yet, on the swing arm i run the shock behind on the birdcage., i was told by bms it would be better over rough tracks, and shyrock was at our track and changed hie behind the rear on the rough stuff. on his car.
it locates the shock closer to the axle.
for my swing arm i run afco birdcages, and on my 4 bar or z link or wishbone i run bsb two piece birdcages. very nice ones i likethem alot.
on my four bar i am running the shock on the front and i am putting a shock extender on it, bilstien shocks makes one, just makes the shock extend further.
you can check out the bsb birdcages at www.bsb-mfg.com but they are pricy. i have about 500 in mine.
