Convert to a link suspension 2 link 4 link swing arm etc with a short panhard bar or a j bar and a pullbar and you will be much much happier with the results once used to it and get it dialed in. Leaf cars just arent very competitive anymore with the advancement of link suspensions.

I know that link cars usually perform better. But you always have to adjust them to changing track conditions. With a leaf spring you don't have to make as many changes to be fast. We like to put are work in at the shop, not in the dirt at the track.

What would be the benefit to running multi leaf and mono? Wouldn't it be easier to setup if you used just monoleaf?

Mono RR, Stack LR won 2 USMTS Features in 2003 plus two seconds. In 2002 they won 2 of the last 5 features in USMTS.

Also 2003 IMCA North Central Region Rookie of the year with a Track title.

I guess they're not very competitive against these link cars.

Hey we build link cars too, don't judge the stuff you don't know about.

I never said leaf cars cant or wont win just in and around my area of the country in central Iowa 90% or more guys run a link car of somekind. Every once in awhile a leaf car wins but against the 4 bar z combo cars or well setup 3 links they dont seem to fare as well.

Were we run most people use link cars also. I agree that a well set up link car will usually out perform a leaf car. I am just looking for some tips to make our leaf car better.

Check the right rear on the new cars. Maybe they do.
