What information there is is in a .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) file, which says, in part:

"Our new Traction Control Detection (TCD™) technology carefully monitors all the available signals of the ignition. If the TCD determines that a signal has been modified, the ignition will be put into a low rpm rev limit mode that will immediately slow the car. Before this rev limit is imposed, the TCD goes through a list of cycles and checks to qualify and confirm that the trigger signal has been modified.

"This is only the beginning for TCD technology as MSD engineers are already working on incorporating it into our Pro Mags, Programmable 7 Series Ignitions that are primarily used in drag racing, and soon our 6-Series Controls."

It's an HEI module. Sounds like they want it to be a spec part so as to inhibit any altered ignition system by shutting down the system. I don't know if it only works with MSD boxes.

i wonder how much this "so called" traction control detector costs?

who's going to run out of money first? the promoters or the racers? pretty soon someone will come out with a "traction control detector-proof" traction control system. lol...

it will soon be the same as radar guns vs detector/jammers that are out on the market. A fool and his money will soon be parted!

For the HEI module with traction control detection...MSD does not have the pricing ready yet. The guy I talked to hinted that it would be a little higher than the regular HEI module.
