standard is 110, can also get 108 and 112 if you want.

I've also wondered about the differences in wheel bases. Just what are the advantages & disavantages of the longer or shorter wheel bases? I guess if it's too cold to race, I might as well try to learn something. LOL.

Motor has to be the same length from the rearend no matter what the wheelbase - so a longer wheelbase gets you more rear weight.

A shorter wheelbase responds quicker.

There is a compromise here, and the fact that most 108" cars are light enough they can get the needed rear with ballast complicates it.

they go from the bell to rear it can be longer wheel b seen this done no advantage that i could see .mabee not worth the time i would look at other things to make chass. work .the buzzard7

New rules for IMCA call for 108 min and 112 max. Just read it in the IMCA paper today. Just got through redoing my paint and now have to shorten car. Late Model starting to look better and better.

The 112 wheelbase works the best for me!!!!

Short wheelbase would be better for a stop and go track and the longer would be for the momentum tracks, it all has to do with speed of weight transfer. The shorter will transfer quicker.
