I am adding mounts for short bar on left side of pinion. My question is, what are most of you running as far as length on the bar? I am leaving my mounts in for the long bar, but need to know where to put my brackets in for the short bar.

best would be as long as you can get it really with out getting into the suspension parts, mine is uses a 8 inch sweged and adjust it all the way down, that is short, to short but i could not fit any longer, but that is due to a swing arm suspension and a cheap clamp bracket. but i would try to get as long of short bar as would fit in the front of the pinon

I'll be putting this on a 00 shaw 3-link. I think I can fit about a 10"-12" bar in without getting into the "bars". Do you think this would be long enough?

yeah that is about how mine is i love it. mine is a 8inch tube plus the hiem joints i am always changeing the angle alittle bit so the legnth varies all the time.
as far as angle i say put it in the second hole up one the pinoin mount and then go over the frame level with that and measure up about 3.5 inches and put it there. that will be a good starting point and easy to drive.
