Running a Ford front end with 115 inch wheelbase.Thinking of shorting it to 108 to 110.What kind of results can i expect from this or is it even worth the effort?

Depends on where you can shorten it and what location you want to shorten it at. If the lenght from engine plate to rear is 6 ft I don't think you could shorten that. Therefor you will have to shorten between the engine and frront wheels. That will reduce your rear percent. You will need ballast to compensate for the change to keep your current percentages if they are where you want them.

We would be sortening it along the framerails. Thus moving the front wheels further back toward the motor. The engine would still be set at legal limits 72" from rearend.
