i have a falcon and never had any trouble after the first couple nights,(yea, i was the one making those ugly squeally noises) i think maybe your not going fast enough befor you shift. when i get out on the track i stand on the clutch hard, run up the rpm till it feels like it wants to quit pulling and just shift it. one trick i learned is to run up a little high in the corner and turn the nose down hill before you shift, especially it the track is heavy.

i run a falcon
i run my car up to 4000 then let off the clutch pedal and pull the car out of gear. then i slow down the motor to 2000 and shift into high gear softly. i have never had a problem, i was told when i bought it that it will make noises sometimes it is normal.
