I just got a modified, and have no clue what to dowith it. I have only raced 4cylinders on dirt circle tracks actually I should add fwd. I'm not sure what kind of motor ro build, I leaning torwards a 400, 383, 377, or a 355. I know I am going to run alchol, and the only kind of motor I will run is a Chevy. Also what kind of tranny should I go for. I think a bert sounds good, but I need some oppinion, I am also not sure what to do for set up on the suspension. I know it is a 3 link dart chassis with a full floating 9" rearend any help would be greatly apreciated.

I see you are from Ohio. Where do you plan on running the e-mod? I've got 2 of 'em and a barn full of stuff you might be able to use. When you figure out what you want to do get hold of me. Gene

i'm gonna agree just s simple 355 would be plenty for you to start not sure about your budget but if it's not very hi i would run a stock 3 speed with a mini clutch and spend money on spare a frames and tires and wheels most rookies go thru alot of those the first year or so
