need an opinion guys, we have a big payout asphalt race here this weekend. it is for dirt mods only and the rules are setup so. we are trying it and have done some asphalt racing before a few years back. my question is..... since this is a dirt mod show we have to run dirt tires and most guys will be running the imca G-60 15 american racers. the tire pressures are to be around 26+ for the right side tires i am told, so with 26 psi would a guy still need a beadlock or not? i am thinking not.........anybody elses thoughts would be appreciated, thanks ford5, BTW this is a 1\4 mile track

no beadlocks.

run them lower than that to start, that would be your hot pressure..

start say

15-22 out cold and check them after hotlaps

switch your rear springs and take some with you keep adding rr spring pressure till you can get it to turn in the middle and not push.

stiffer lf than rf will help to loosen on exit also. that will be the main problem with the rear wt hawkey is making mods run.

your going to want as soft of tires as you have, even soaking them if you know how would have been good.

Hope this helps, a little late to change much now!! I tried to get people around here to go, but no takers, Ive raced pavement from 93-02 untill I moved to iowa last december.

Good luck its a sweet 1st place purse..
