we are running a 16" shorty bar on drivers side of pinion, car hooks up great but the problem is it has so much side bite that when we get on the gas in the corners it will hook then skip till you back off the throttle. Its almost like a wheel hop but only its a sideways motion. Only getting 2" of right rear travel, it had a 175rr spring, went down to a 150 seemed to be better. Do I go to a 125 or change shocks? Running 93s on rear rihgt now. Anyone ever had this problem? Looked at some other cars and they had less pinion angle. Would this cause the skipping. Running bar in bottom hole with 4" of rake, do I need to lower rake aaangle?

Take alittle angle out of it and see if that don't help, on our late model we'd run it pretty flat if the track was tacky.

Get it up to the 3rd hole or 2nd one with the same rake and you'll be happy by what your describing . Being down that low on the pinion will make that thing tight as **** from the middle off let alone if you got somethin else goin on . I would go to the 2nd one , I ran the 3rd alot but now in the 2nd one and the car is much more drivable .
