What is the deal on their cars that was said to be illegal this year in imca. Someone on another website was trying to explain it but I didn't understand what they were talking about. Something about another spring or half leaf or something on the left rear. If anyone knows please explain. I think it was called the dust devil or something. Thanks.

I have seen it, and talked to eddie martin about it, it is hard to describe how it all works, Eddie is smart enough that he can tell you exactly why and what makes it work, Basicly it is a leaf spring from a trailer axle that is clamped on the axle tube on one end, and on the other eyelet it has a chain that hooks up to a bar under the seat. As the rearend rolles back the chain tightns up and pushes more weight on the LR tire. I works like a traction bar would work on a street rod or a drag car

Dust Devil Race cars is Jim Chapman and that is the right area code. They are in in Baytown Texas, send me a PM if that number dont work for you, and I can get you a good number.
Jim is a good guy to deal with.
