Lower it one inch instead unless you can't of course. Or go back to what works and try something else to loosen the car.

2" is a big change if you move both sides move it about 1/4" at a time moving the frame side only I'd only move 1/2" at a time.

Thanks for the response. i raised it back up some to try in practice sat. every thing i have read says lowering panhard bar will tighten car??? i lowered it a lot to try to see a change quick. i had softened the rf down to a 500 lbs sp. and it still pushed. now that the bar being lower has losened car i can work to tighten it back. just dont understand how lowering it loosens car?

On an asphalt car the bar connects to frame on right and axle on left, the adjustments work in reverse to a dirt setup of frame left and axle right.Raise the Rt side to tighten or lower the Rt to loosen.

wrong.

you lowered both sides, that will change your rear roll center etc.

you should have just lowered it a half at maxxxx at once on the outside.

actually if your willing to move it that much i must assume your not sure your even close.

a good starting point on your panhard bar is as stated above, centered on axle tube and rs up one inch. this should put your rear roll between 10-13 which is where you want it.

is your bar a long one or short to pinion, j bar?? that will change how it works a lot also is it behind the rearend or in front. that will also effect everything, if its on front when you get on the gas your split is diminished.

split is diff between outside mounting ht and axle mounting ht.

ok i set bar at 12.5 inches housing (left) side and 13" frame side. car was little loose hot laps so i tightened front sway bar some. car was pretty good low but not when i tried outside. good in and middle, no bite off. i think i have too much split front. 600 rf 500 lf. thinking of trying 550 lf. or now have 125 rr 175 lf. could go to 150 lr. what does any body think. i will scale car sun and see what cross is.
