running a modified in southern MN and wanting to ge more bite. its being run as a limited mod and local chassis builder, but car is very similiar to a K-mod from what i have been told.

80-100 lbs bite and rear links in middle wholes on chassis.
8* pinion angle and 7* panhard angle. long bars on both.

around 58-59% rear weight depends on fuel

handles fine minus driver problems rookie, just wanted to hear some more set-ups. J-bar, short panhard, location of links.

any ideas welcome but please give me a reason or thought process... thanx in advance squid

i have to add 250 lbs to make weight and have the fuel cell 3/4 full. with no lead i have about 44-45%.

the car worked well after i figured out how to drive a little, but doesn't heat up the left rear at all. i like everything it does but always learned 16in is better than 8in.

i've even added more bite to like 150-180 lbs and no difference. another question, have been told never add lead to the right rear- it loads itself automatically and force. other thoughts

car has 650lf,750rf,225lr,200rr
started with a 175rr and the car pushed on entry, stuck well and pulled guys through the middle and exit, but didn't like the push so i tried the 200 and it went away and now i think it is loose in the middle and exit.

here's a thought if i go back to the 175 and take rear % out would this help. or would i still have the push. the 175 seemed to bite but was rough and felt like i was riding on the rr. rookie driver doesn't help either, beat up the car last week so it will be a wk or 2 before i go back out. got up in the marbles and lifted shot me back down in front of 4-5 cars and played pinball.

i really appreciate the help and suggestions, nice to know what others thoughts and ideas are, but theres only one way to find out if it will work for me. "SEAT TIME"
