As Duste Jr has stated we are having a major problem with our fuel delivery. I am a crewmember on both the 73 and 23 Mods and have been asked to ask questions regarding our probs. we are running 428 dart block with a 950 cfm carb. what we want to know is do we need a different needle and seat in our carb? We have found out that we need to go with a belt drive pump, #12 fuel line. do we need a different needle and seat or multiple? Any help or opinions are needed. we think we have it, but please give us your opinions. Remember one block is a World Motown and one is a Dart Little M.

If you are on alcohol i would reccomend running .150 stainless needlw and seats. As far as i know those are the largest they make and will help keep your bowls full. Also alky carbs need to have high flow power valves to keep from leaning it out under a load. They are the ones with kind of a green color. The blocks wont make any difference, you just need to make sure you get the correct amount of fuel to it and your carb is set up right.

We recently picked up a new Ruppert carb, and they do not use power valves.
