Last night i was getting a slight hesitation on starts and restarts.....the track was super tacky and when i would get on it on starts and restarts i would get about 20' of lag then it would light off? Could this be a jet issue? The car just screams once it gets rolling but i need that jump off the starts....Kp any insight on this would be great tried to call today but no one was home

Hi, 14, I'm finally back from vacation. Sorry I missed ya earlier. Our shop (also my home) phone is un-attended most of the time during the day, as I am off at a day job usually. To reach me during the daytime, email usually works best or just chime in here and I will find ya.
Yes, it sounds like you may have a problem in your accelerator pump circuit, or possibly some other minor off-idle problem.
Easily fixed, tho. First check to make sure the obvious isn't the case, like play in the pump arm(s), a worn pump cam, or even junk/dirt in the squirters or the passages leading to them.
Next, possibly dirt in an idle passage could cause a bog, or a leaky power valve gasket (or PV itself) can cause similar symptoms.

Check these things first and let me know. We'll do our best.

I have had a variety of carbs from different makers and when they start acting like that, I check the passages that are in the top of the venturies, (vents for float bowls) they are usually clogged and when cleaned, the carb acts normal again. (whatever normal is) LOL
