I need to buy a carb for a second car I'm putting together. Willy's has a alcohol carb they call the ultimate slick track carb. In theory this seems like a great idea. It is very easy to over power a slick track. It works off of vacuum secondarys and can be adjusted by turning a needle valve.

Any one have experience, pro or con with these carbs?

Thanks for the reply Tim. For $1250 they better be a good card. But I was hoping to hear from someone that has used them with success on the dry slick. Anyone out there. Are they worth it, or should a guy just go out and buy a Gaerte?

last year i bought a new carb, had always had a rebuilt, or used one.both were well known respected brands, but when i called willys about a new one, they were very easy to deal with, explaining things so that even i could understand them.
i didn't get the carb ordered until 2 wks before we were to start, ups was to deliver in 2 days, carb got sent to utah, instead of iowa,(ups deal not willys},this was on a 3pm in the afternoon,i called willys for tracking #'s etc.
THEY BIULT A NEW CARB THAT AFTERNOON AND DROVE IT TO THE UPS TERMINAL THAT DAY!!it came the next day, and we raced that weekend. my carb DOES NOT HAVE the dry slick vaccum kit yet,but over the winter it probably will, it can be added later.
i have had no problems at all with this carb. we think this is one of the best things that we have spent money on since we have started.
i think if you choose to use them, you will be pleased. thanks for listening
