We took the weekend off, so I went to a local track Friday night and noticed that 8 out of 9 mods I looked at were running a long pullbar mounted in the center on the rearend housing and spaced over to the far left next to the driver on the driveshaft hoop bracket. We have always ran our pullbar inline with the driveshaft, and I was wondering the advantages one can gain by this adjustment. I guess it is going to pull a little more weight off the LF then the RF, perhaps loading the RR tire when you get on the gas (help the car roll more?). Maybe this is why a LOT of guys are pulling the LF there.
