Hey you said I could ask you more questions about those Ford stubbed cars of yours. What brakes and spindles do you use? Rules where I'm moving to say that the spindle and LCA have to match the chassis.

The way I see it I'm gonna be stuck with huge heavy brakes or a narrow car with an enormous scrub radius.

I am the driver of Rich's Ford stub car. I am very happy with the chassis I have. As for the brakes do you have to run stock calipers for that stub?? If not M&M sell Gm metric caliper adapters to fit the crown vic spindles. I have run crown vic frames under my super stocks and I had to run all stock components and I was very happy with that car!

Ford brakes and spindles and lowers if the rules wont allow change . If the rules allow it i would change to light gm metric spindles and rotors.Frontend seems to work much better.

I want to run the GM Metric stuff, there's no need for those huge brakes on a modified if you ask me. Been to the fastest and heaviest braking tracks in the country and never had a problem with metrics.

The rules only state that you need the stock spindles and lowers for the frame. Guess my Torino with Granada spindles is out too, which ***** I really like that car. Might have to dedicate it for going back to Dirt or running Tour shows on the pavement.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll be building a crown vic for the local track I guess.
