My guess is 2nd2none told you to get a monty bar from DW??? If he did, order it. He is right.

I prefer the afco type with a 600lb spring on the slick stuff.

we get along real well with the afco as well but we are using a progressive spring. We tried the monty bar but got tired of guessing whether or not the biscuits are shot and replacing them needlessly. at least with the spring you now it wont change. that is what we felt anyway.

What progressive spring are you running dirtbuster? How much pre-load are you setting for the tacky and dry? Are you running a 2 link, and if so, how much travel are you getting?

We are running the 600/1200 and have yet to get more than 1.5" of travel - have been searching for something binding.

Thanks.

The X-Factor is the only way to go in my personal opinion. Just call Jason at 918-902-5692, or take a look at his webpage www.GilbertRacingProducts.com

dluna,
we are using a 400-1000 spring and with around 3/16" or so preload and getting 1 1/4 maybe 1 1/2 travel. yes it is a 2 link. I hear people talk about getting 2-3" travel but we have never seen it since new even when everything was new.
