What brand of car is it? If you can find the builders website or phone number, they should be able to help you out.

Do you know anyone that races mods, If you do spend a few races at the track with them and soak in as much info as possible as well as reading alot of books.
I spent a whole season in the pitts with a friends car before I got mine to the track .
Its been 9 years now and I've had lots of fun with no huge learning curve .
Getting your hands dirty at the track is invaluable.

Steve Smith Autosports sales a book "IMCA Racing Technology". This is a good book to read and it explains a lot of setup geometry such as Pan hard bars, 3 link, swing arms/z-link, 4 link, ect.... It covers most everything as far as basics. Nice looking car man!!!

Smiths book is very good for the basics and it has quite a bit of diversity concerning rear suspensions and components.

DP, that's an older Lightning with a T-bird front clip. Ask the fella you bought the chassis from to help with set-up specs, or ask Lightning for help. Where are you located?
