Racers out there in this great country. Which is the best TIRE to use that is classified a non racing tire by rule makers I run P275 R 60 mastercrafts which has a pretty good tread pattern but have been told compound is to hard, Run on 3\8 semi banked clay\dirt track.Thanks for your input

I came across the daytona-sr's last summer. We first used the 255 and 275 60. I liked the way they held the track and are soft compaired to most street tires also.

Where can you buy sigma E or the daytona srs at ive heard of daytona and is that a dayton tire. And also guys do you think I am running to large a tire. Ive heard some racers having luck with a smaller tire.and is there a tire comparible to a imca modified tire to run on street stock. Thanks for all your help

I AZ the most common brands are Winston and Lee.

most any true snow tire is a softer compound
by nature such as bridgestone blizzak, if you can find the right sizes.
You can also soften most tires by a good washing with degreaser like purple power. sand the tread lightly to open the pores and them spray them liberally two or three times the day before each race.

daytona sr's all the way
they might as well sponsor our class up here in canada thats what over half the class runs we do got a few guys with bfg's but majority is the sr's

Any tire you get for free or cheaper.
