Anybody running fire extinguisher set ups? Halon? Where do you located nozzles-Engine, fuel cell, **** pit? 2 1/2 or 5lbs. I know the best option is to get the heck out, but just in case one can't, interested in what others are doing? Thanks.

I run a 5 lb and have 1 in with me and one by the cell. When you mount the one inside put it where it is not spraying in your face. put it behind you spraying accross to your front. I saw a beautiful asphault latemodel destroyed not by the fire but the nozzle blew into the driver and got into his facemask, the fire went out right away, then the car hit the wall and caught fire again and burned to the ground. He hit the wall at WOT not thinking because the spray blinded him.

I run a 5 lb with the nozzels pointed at my knees feet and legs. I still have a 2 lb as well to grab and give to the track guy who always comes running up yellin give me your extinguisher( the track one ran out three years ago and serves as a stool now) I loved
it last year when my neighbors car came in on fire and he pulled right up next to mine and jumped out and grabbed my ext(his was strapped down with a rad clmp and wouldn't come free.) He never even offered to pay me.

10 lb from summit, $460.00 halon, 3 nozzles, and 2 pull cables one inside by shifter other will be behind drivers head marked clearly for the track personel..

1 nozzle in cockpit, one over cell, one in engine compartment.

also a small hand held mounted near by.
