Switching from a 7.5in. GM rear to a 9in ford (I believe it has the long yoke)havn't got the rear finished yet or i would check my self.but I was wondering what the diff. in driveshaft length would be if any. Engine is in stock loc. Thanks alot josh K.

get a short yoke and you will be ok

just depends on how the rear end is jigged i wouldn't do anything till you have the rear and gear in the car then messure it out. only takes about 1/2 hr to make a drive shaft shorter but it's nice to do it just once. or if i rember right a nova shaft might bolt right up after you change the u joint

with motor in stock location and a 9" with a short yolk you can use the stock metric length driveshaft.
