Just starting want to get the right car to start with . Building a hobby car ,Is one year better than another year of monte carlo 1981-1988 and is buicks and pontiac just as good ? , rules say 106" minimum wheel base, Chassis must remain stock,Suspension No coil over tube A-frames permitted .

I was told by a Chassis Builder that the buick regals get better rear percents.

the frames are all the same as far as the rear % being easyer luckey on the first shot

frames all came out of the samp assembly line

there is just a little more material in the rear window area on a regal other then that not much different

hey shifty get pedals out od an s-10 or older gm full size truck will bolt right up thats what we always use we use the stock linkage stuff too or you can make a pully system off the bottom or your seat bracket to go down to the fork seen that the other weekend at a swap meet on a hobby car had a cable hooked to the pedal came back and had two pullies on the ends of the seat mount and then straight down to the fork
