just wondered what everyone else uses for paint.I have used implement paint(tough but fades fast)and I have used good metal flake paint(looked great but flaked off easy).So what do you guys/gals use??

i use the ttractor paint just wax it and keep it in the shade as much as possible can't go wrong with a 40$ paint job

Rustoleum, thin it down a little with mineral spirits. I used some Sikins and PPG urethan base clear last year that I had leftover from another project and it looks pretty dame good still.

We just finished spraying my car. 2 quarts of rustoleum and cut it slightly with mineral spirits. I'm very satisfied. Best $15.00 paint job I've seen in a while.

The big trick is to use a reducer instead of mineral spirits. It will make the paint dry much faster.

One gallon of dark blue farm impliment paint mixed with one quart of silver gives a different color blue than most have seen. Add in the hardner, reducer and spray. $40 bucks total in the paint job. It hasn't faded but the car sits in a garage when not at the track.
