On the rear shocks for a metric I was wondering if you could cut that stud out and beat it through and run it that way. Reason being is that when I made the shock mounts I didn't have the shocks yet and used afco's which have the hole in the middle. Anybody ever do this. Don't really want to redo my mounts but I would rather do that than ruin my new shocks.thanx

You can try it but it is a royal pain. I did that on one of mine. just ground the head off and the washer poped off and then pounded the stud out. I had to ream the hole out alot to get a 5/8 mounting pin through and it is still very tight. alot less trouble to use the stock pins.

Well I think I'll modify the shocks really don't want to redo my mounts again. Didn't like the way they were the 1st time. Got your car done yet Nick.
