does anyone know stock gear ratios for a ford 9 inch rearend, i want to run a final gear of around 660-670 i will be running a powerglide that is the 1.76 gear ratio, what make ford vehicle has a gear ratio that would fit me. and also i have to run in low gear because my rule says no lighten gears, will i destroy alot of powerglides of running in low??

3.73 with 1.76 would be 6.56.

what does lightening gears have to do with running in hi you'll be alot better off getting a 6.50 and running that instead of going thru the tranny to get your final

73 f150 4x4 auto shuld have a 373 gear in it
if you can't find one let me know and I will go out to the pile of 9" and see if I can finde one for you

center sections I'v been getting 150$ ea the pile as critisized LOL is about a full sized truck bed full over the top

a torch and parked next to the crusher was a well spent weekend I broke all the springs on my truck on the way home so yea I have a few rear ends
