In a couple days I will be making a trip to the race shop to get some front shocks.Whats some good starting rates to go with.Stock mount on left,9" stroke welded bearing on rf.Should I go with something with little rebound to transfer weight to the rear or just go with 50/50? Car is #3200 malibu. Also say my shock is 14" compressed 23" extended. Should my mounting points measure around 19" ?

Hey Jr, I just went thru the shock delimma myself, so I may save you some grief. Call Bilstien (CA#) and ask for Bill. He will answer Street Stocker questions with as much athority as if you were a Cup driver. Then, after you are done with him call 866 722 3432 ask for Marina. She's a nut ans fun to talk with. Their steel bodied fixed bearing Bilstiens are less than $100. Their stock mounts are just under $50! They aren't a forum sponsor, so I won't use their name on here-but you won't be sorry you called!
