i was wondering what some of you use for a rear bumper. i used an aluminum monte carlo one last year and that held up ok. is there any aluminum ones out there that are the right width? i can trim one too if its to long but it'd be nice not to have to cut and cap it.

thanks

luke

Hey Luke, I found mine on a citation of all cars. You know the old round type of car...lol.

The width was perfect for a regal. I just trimmed the corners caps, not the length, just the cap.

Basically the bumper is the exact width of the car, so you trim the corners depending on how close the bumper is to the car.

Hope this helps.

I'll 3rd the Ford Fairmont.

I have a friend that uses an indestructable Aluminum bumper off a Volvo...don't know what years though.

Volvo bumpers rule!! I ran the same one on the back of my car for 4 years. Mid to late 80s volvos. the rear bumper is nice and straight and the front bumper fits the plastic monte noses perfectly.

The best rear bumper hands down is the one that keeps the competition behind you, lol

Speaking of bumpers has anyone used one of the fiberglass bumpers? Mazda and other imports. The ones I have see are only 55" long but they are light. I think they would be strong. SLEEPY
