I was just curious, How much rearweight does the average LEGAL hobby carry?

my buddies chassis come in around 52 with 22 gallon cell

That high on a hobby? I thought most of them were around 45-47%.

i'd say 46-50 is average. o5racer, how many of 'em do you think are legal? lol

i got 48 out of mine with 10 gallons of fuel and i don't have an x in the the tail you can use some pretty heavy stuff on the rrar to x brace it also a heavy steel battery box and heavy bumper can go along way thats also one of the reasons why we run the 22 gallon cell legal tail weight

OK, it sounds like you guys can't add ballast to get the rear percent you would like. Most of the above numbers sound to me like you'd have a hard time hooking up on exit, without other significant adjustments to compensate, if the track went dry. So what I'm asking is, if you could get it, what rear percent would you want to run for a dryish feature?
