"aftermarket street headers are allowed" I don't see any "gray" But I wouldn't try and get by with a set of crossovers!
On the drive line area...it does not say how big the clutch dik can be...in this case I would think that smaller might be better.
A box stock 4412 can be a great carb, you might want to talk to Kinectic Performance on that.
Good luck---

I think chassis headers are what they are talking about. The 4412 & 9in would be the way I would go.

I'd recommend a properly calibrated 4412, 1" phenolic adapter, and if you think the tech will allow Vortec heads, get a set of those and shave 'em .040" and run a stock TBI "2bbl" intake. They might complain about that, tho, but that's one option for an intake since a true Vortec 2bbl intake is REALLY hard to find (marine app's are one place, I think).
For a 2bbl class like that, you won't beat a Vortec head considering those other limitations.
Now, if they specify no Vortec heads and no TBI intakes, get an older 2bbl iron one (the ones off a 400ci or one stamped "Canada" is fine) and go with the old double humps.
I gotta say, that purse is disgracefull...even for a DIRT sanctioned track...

Hope that helps,
KP

"Cage must be made of black iron pipe or steel tubing"
This is the best rule!!! BLACK IRON PIPE???
That stuff is ****, I had to bend some for bumper/foglite/headlight guards on a friends truck, there was several peices that just BROKE when we tried to bend it. The pipe is not held to any MFG standards, it is made up of s**** whatever and not mixed to any specific tensil strength.
Get a small peice and drill about 5 holes in it and they will all take different amounts of time and all feel diferent due to the hard and soft spots in the pipe.
Unreal!!! Black Iorn pipe!!!!!!! HA!

yeah we get paid **** up here and the class is outta hand but it is fun none the less and well some of the rules get all ****ed up in the trasulation from frog i mean fernch to english so if it seem to stuipid to be true it is cause the frog can't say it in english

and i think that would be 125 canadian... so that might be 100 US... and well last year all we got was 100 can... so that is an improvment
