On wheel adapters, how do you keep the allen bolts tight, loctite?i'd hate to lose one, also do you use washers on the allen head bolts for added strength or not.I've never used them. Thanks

If you get them from Day motorsports they come with all the mounting hardware. Whereas, Speedway motors come bare. atleast as of last year when I got one from each at the same price. If you you didn't get one with hardware, make sure you get grade 8 bolts and use lock washers. DO NOT USE LOCKTITE. These adapters are aluminum, so be sure to use anti-seize compound. If you don't, you will ruin the threads if you ever try to remove it. I check the torque on the bolts once a month, when I repack the wheel bearings. I've run them for years and have never had a problem.

Thanks,i'm new to these,i just can't see where the allen head bolts would hold compared to a regular big headed bolt.
