The large upper pulley came on the earlier long water pumps part #3989305 but it has only one groove, chevy quit making these as a replacement part a far as i can tell. Some run a 6cyl upper that is the two groove large style.

we kept throwing v-belts so we switched to a serpentine belt and have not thrown one yet.
I just went to the s**** yard and pulled the pulleys off a metric pontiac grand prix.
we even put the junk yard belt on to test and it worked so well it ran the rest of the season.

yes you can still get them from GM. our setup makes a 1 to 1 ratio. Ours has a V-belt for the PS and serpentine for the alternator. The newer ones are all serpentine.

you can also get aftermarket steel pulleys that are very close to the alum. pulleys. They work good but are pricey.

If you have a GM dealership close just go and look in one of their GM High Performance Catalogs. You can get steel deep groove pulleys out of them.

Classic Industries in Huntington Beach, Ca. Phone number is 1-800-854-1280. They have a large selection of original equipment parts. I'm looking at a Camaro cataloge and they have several combo's from a lot of different years. Call them and tell what your looking for I bet they have it.
