I've been lightening up my I-stock. It think with the addition of the aluminum intake, it'll weigh about 2950 with me in it (180#) and 12 gal of fuel. So the car will weigh 2770 with 12 gal of fuel. What do ya'll think, light, heavy, or what? How much do some of your cars weigh? Just curious. BTW, our local track doesn't have scales and it's tacky a lot of the time.

most i stocks around here are in the 2700# range after the feature. what size tubing do you have in the car besides the 1 3/4 for the cage most everything around here uses 1 1/4 for everything besides the main cage and door bars

my 2001 car is 2675 with 22 gallons of fuel and no driver.

my 2004 car should be 2600 or less with better gutting of the body, aluminum intake and other stuff. 2770 is about average.
we have a few cars up in mn that are over 3100lbs at tracks with no weight rule.

I've got a 2003 Terminator that's gutted pretty good. 2650 without driver, 12 gallons of fuel.

I'm sure there's 2700 lbs cars out there, like racer17j says, but I have my doubts about them being truly IMCA legal...

Forward of the main cage, there is 1 1/2'' X .095 to in front of the radiator. I know there's 40 extra pounds in the front, but there has to be a balance with durability, especially for guys like me on a budget and with no sponsors. Behind the cage, same size to behind the rear springs. Fuel cell protector bars and other short pieces are 1 1/4''. My car has aluminum bumpers, too. I have a TH350 and a coupler, so that is a little heavier than a Powerglide. I have a D&M floater, too. That 2700 you said, is that with or without driver?
