what would be the effect if i shorten the pitman arm....

you have to shorten the idler arm the same.
but the effect would be slower steering.

you would probably have a heck of a bind in the steering

you would end up with ALOT of ackerman steering. Like racer17j is saying it would bind up more than anything.

shorter pitman arm and shorter idler arm and I led f.s. points from from night one and won my 3rd championship.

why would you want to shorten the pitman arm to slow the steering why not lengthen it or get a longer one to speed up the steering iam just asking
O bythe way has anybody ever cut the spindle arms a inch to speed up the steering????

changes angle of stearing rods[tie rod end ect], makes them more straight across.

if you want quicker stearing you can use a camero gear box,after market gear box, or quick stear box.

we cant use a quick steer box but we can use a Z28 box and i do but still would like quicker steering
Does anybody know where to get a 12to1 box or quicker????
